Companies across the globe that use Microsoft cloud offerings took to Twitter on Wednesday morning, igniting frustrations. Understandably so, these outraged Tweetians had a full stop to accessing their Microsoft accounts. The reason: a failed network update.
While outages of any kind are rare, there is a way to protect yourself. Legaltech News sites Level Legal’s Chief Information Officer, John Vajanyi says, “compensation is tied to the SLA outlined in terms of service in the case of cloud providers going down.”
A word for the wise? “Users across legal should look into their cloud provider’s cyber policies,” says Vajanyi, “to see if they allow them to recover revenue should they lose access to their services”.
